										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>These are three fantastic, well preserved giant tortoise leg armor plates from the Pleistocene. This is from <em>Hesperotestudo</em>, a massive tortoise that was once native to both North and Central America. These fossils are usually pretty well preserved due to the density of the bone. These are quite heavy for their size and nearly indestructible. They are probably the least fragile fossils currently listed on this shop.</p>
