Juvenile Columbian Mammoth Tooth – Pleistocene of Florida

This is a mostly complete juvenile columbian mammoth tooth found in Florida (a personal find). This tooth shows a very low level of wear which means that this tooth had not been used much and wasn’t erupted for long when the animal died. The tooth is missing a bit, but it is an excellent fossil nonetheless and would look great displayed. This is one of the most iconic of the Pleistocene megafauna that went extinct at the end of the ice age.
