This is a set of four tapir teeth from Tapirus veroensis, an extinct tapir that existed here in Florida in the Pleistocene, over 10,000 years ago. This set includes a molar, premolar, canine, and incisor. Some of the first humans to ever live in Florida hunted and butchered these for food. These are personal finds from Florida.
