Juvenile Megalodon Shark Tooth | Miocene of Florida

This is a small little juvenile megalodon shark tooth. Many of the areas I collect fossils are were shallow bay-like environments where megalodons grew up at before moving out to deeper water and feeding upon whales. This is a tooth from a megalodon that likely went on to grow up into the huge beast we all think of when we hear “megalodon”.
