Partial Juvenile Columbian Mammoth Tooth – Pleistocene of Florida

This is a partial juvenile columbian mammoth tooth found in Florida. This tooth shows a very low level of wear which means that this tooth had not been used much and wasn’t erupted for long when the animal died. This is one of the most iconic of the Pleistocene megafauna that went extinct at the end of the ice age.

This is just a piece of mammoth tooth, not a complete tooth.
